Marvel Tokon Tier List

Updated September 5, 2026

Week-five read: the three strongest post-CEO lists, SonicFox (the CEO 2026 champion), HookGangGod (the top online player) and Diaphone (who compared both and adjusted), agree on the top row and on the bottom of the cast. Still no win-rate data, and still no balance patch: every update since launch has been fixes and stability. What moved here is consensus, clearly labelled, and it will move again when the first balance pass lands.

Tiers say who’s strong. The quiz says who’s yours. 10 questions, about a minute, matched to how you actually play. Take the quiz
S Warping the meta, and winning with it
A Strong everywhere, beaten by S only at the edges
B Real wins, real weaknesses
C Below the pack, above the floor
D Alone at the bottom on every list
Changelog & sources
  • Sep 5, v6: three post-CEO pro lists compared (SonicFox Aug 23, HookGangGod Aug 26, Diaphone Sep 2). Doctor Doom to S: SonicFox's second row, S for HookGangGod and Diaphone. Magneto to A: SonicFox has him a row under the staples and HookGangGod files him B and calls him fraudulent; SonicFox still won CEO with him on the team. Ghost Rider to A on SonicFox's third row. New C tier for the fighters every list rates below the pack but above the Champion: Hulk and Peni Parker down from B, Danger and Ms. Marvel up from D. The Champion stays alone at the bottom on every list. No balance patch yet.
  • Aug 23, v5: first read with a real bracket behind it. CEO 2026 (Aug 14 to 16, 1,054 entrants) was won by SonicFox on Green Goblin, Spider-Man, Magneto and Blade, and Spider-Man was on every one of the eight top-8 teams. Green Goblin to S: he won the event, LLon's Aug 17 list has him in the top row, and LordKnight's Aug 15 list sits him just under the staples; three promotions in three weeks says the beta read was simply wrong. Danger to D: he barely appeared in the top 64 and LLon names him with Ms. Marvel and The Champion as the three weakest, so the under-explored label no longer holds. That empties C, and we are not keeping a tier just to have one. Not moved: Ghost Rider (LLon has him S, nobody else does, and CEO did not show it - watching), Hulk (near-zero CEO usage cuts against his B, but one outlet makes a real case for him as the best Leader pick, so he keeps the benefit of the doubt one more round). The Aug 21 patch was bug fixes only, nothing here is a reaction to balance.
  • Aug 14, v4: first pass built on live play instead of beta play. Blade to S (every published list has him there, and he led beta assist usage while tying Magik on picks); Magneto to S and Green Goblin to A on Bleed's day-three tournament read, which agrees with NerdJosh; Carnage to A on the same list. Star-Lord back to A - Bleed rates him well below our S row, and one week of real reps did not back the promotion. Hulk and Loki up to B: both were parked in C only because the open beta locked them out, and that reason has expired. Ms. Marvel to D, joined by The Champion, whom Bleed names as the two weakest. The Champion is new to this list: he is the secret 21st fighter, unlocked by finishing any Episode Mode story, and he had been missing entirely.
  • Aug 7, v3: Star-Lord up to S; a third source (tokon.gg) now has him leading alongside our S row, one day after NerdJosh. Also: the game published official per-fighter difficulty ratings; they confirm Danger, Green Goblin, and Ghost Rider as the hardest fighters, and we have folded that into their profiles.
  • Aug 6, v2: Star-Lord up to A and Green Goblin up to B on NerdJosh's late-beta list (he had both top-eight; our C-tier notes called both underrated). Day one patch is live; watching for balance shifts.
  • Aug 6, v1: launch list assembled from open-beta pro tiers (K7 Showoff, ArbiterSkyward) plus our beta reads.

Common questions

Who is the best character in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls?

Magik tops our Marvel Tokon tier list: The one name on every list, beta and launch alike. Disc mix-ups nobody consistently blocks. The full S tier is Magik, Black Panther, Blade, Storm, Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, based on published tier lists from competitive players plus our own reads.

Is this Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls tier list based on win rates?

No: no public win-rate data exists for Marvel Tokon yet. This list aggregates published tier lists from competitive players plus our own time with the game, shows its reasoning per fighter, and is updated as real results come in (last update: September 5, 2026).

Should I main the highest-tier Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls character?

Only if they fit how you play. Tier lists say who is strong in expert hands; a fighter that matches your habits will win you more games than a top-tier pick you fight against. Take the playstyle quiz to find yours.
